Student Production Association of Lane County Community College

In 2002 a group of dedicated students who wanted to produce theatre at Lane formed the Student Production Association. Their ingenuity, along with support from the Associated Students of Lane Community College, provided the fertile ground for SPA to grow. SPA now runs on the model of a professional production company and provides students the opportunity to fully engage in all aspects of theatre production.

Annually SPA produces three full productions, various workshops, and showcases of work from acting classes. SPA is a resource for Lane students to create theater in all its forms and see their work in full productions.

Cabaletta Productions supports the creation, performance, and distribution of new musical works, with a focus on opera

The Eugene Concert Choir’s mission is to engage, inspire and enrich the community through performance of choral masterworks, diverse artistic experiences, and educational outreach.

Delgani String Quartet is dedicated to cultivating an appreciation for chamber music through distinctive performance, innovative programming, educational outreach, and collaboration. Delgani strives to create community with audiences in ways that reflect the intimacy of the string quartet itself, through interaction, expression, and spontaneity.

The Elsewhere Ensemble is an eclectic group of artists coming from different cultures, different generations and disciplines. Unlike most ensembles it is not defined by its form – it is neither a music group nor a theater group, neither a string quartet nor an acting company (but it can be any one, or any combination of these) – it is defined by the desire to find a way of working together so that the whole is somehow greater than each part… the belief that art should be born out of the ties which bring us closer together, reminding us of our humanity. With the continued hope that “classical” music and “theater” are not for an elite but a human necessity.
